   James Duncan age 91, of Horine, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Missouri. He was born June 26, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Ethel (nee Skaggs) and Arthur Duncan.
   He is survived by children James (Bev) Duncan of Horine, Jerry Duncan of Festus, Brenda Hall of Festus, Justin Duncan of Mapaville, Missouri, Jeff (Rachel) Duncan of Horine, and Julie (Tim) McClain of Horine; sister Ruth Draves of Eureka, Missouri; grandchildren Jimmy Duncan, Joey Duncan, Michelle Hall, Chastity Hall, Joshua Duncan, Justin Duncan, Jeffery Duncan, Johnathon Duncan, Jacob Duncan, Jessica Vinyard, Sarah Kaiser, Anna Duncan, Ona Hicks, Amber Sterling, Joe Duncan, Emily Jones, and Amy Gemmell; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
   In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Anna Mae (nee Miller) Duncan; a son William Joseph "Billy" Duncan; granddaughter Jennifer Duncan; sisters Lola Mae (the late Carl) Hemme, Mildred "Toogie" (the late Carl) Miller, June (the late George) Mounts, and Vivian "Snookzie" Duncan; and brothers Jack Duncan, and Chuck Duncan.
   He served as a Military Policeman with the U.S. Air Force; had worked at PPG Industries, was a commercial carpenter, horseman, and general handyman. He was an avid flint napper, wood carver, and member of the Three Rivers Chapter of the Missouri Archaeological Society at Mastodon State Historic Site in Imperial, Missouri.
   Visitation 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home in Pevely, Missouri. Funeral services 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink of Festus. Interment with full military honors in Sandy Cemetery of Hillsboro, Missouri.
