age, 83, of Crystal City died September 27, 2019 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Carol was born in her parents' home in Crystal City in the Spring of 1936. She was the daughter of the late C. Doan Noce and Julia Chmela Noce. She is survived by a sister: Mimi Cook of Crystal City. She was preceded in death by her husband: James (Ike) Jennings.
During her lifetime Carol worked for Dr. Roger Allbee and Dr. Tae S. Kim and later at Famous Barr in the South County Mall. Her best job was mother and homemaker for her family and many others who passed through her doorway. Carol had an abundance of friends and cherished them all, and her life in this quaint and harmonious town was important to her. Her legacy lives strong in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her four children Steve (Ana) Jennings of Kirkwood, MO, Susan (Lynn) Long of Lebanon, MO, Julie (Paul) Skei of Springfield, MO, and Jimmy (Deone) Jennings of Portland, OR; six grandchildren: Carrie (Marc) Green, Leah (Adam) Merritt, Alison (Zach) Rotello, Kristina (Brent) Carter, Elin Skei and Jackson Jennings. Carol was blessed with ten great-grandchildren.
Memorial gathering Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Sacred Heart Church, Crystal City from 10:30 A.M. until time of Memorial Mass at 11:30 A.M. officiated by Father Dan Shaughnessy, Pastor St. Joseph's Church, Imperial, Missouri. Memorials in her memory are preferred to Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance 533 W Uwchlan Ave. Downingtown, PA 19335.
