William Edward 'Wee Wee' Bingham

   William Bingham age 56 of Crystal City, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis County, Missouri. He was born September 25, 1961 in Kirkwood, Missouri, the son of the late Lillie Mae (nee Clay) Bingham. He was raised by Lillie and his late grandmother Harriett Block. He lifelong service as a firefighter was inspired by the late Tony and Carmella Picarella, and he spent many years with the god parents the late Mary "Aunt Sweet" and Bill Harris.
   He is survived by his wife Grace (nee Sorbello) Bingham; sons William "Billy" Bingham, Jr. of Festus, and Vincent "Bud" Bingham of Festus; daughters Kaneesha Bingham of Crystal City, and Kara Bingham of Perryville, Missouri; brother Vincent Bingham of Crystal City; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
   He is also preceded in death by his sister Denise Bingham; and brothers James Bingham, and Paul (the late Mary) Priest.
   Captain Bingham served the Crystal City fire department for 43 years; was a member of the Firefighters Association of Missouri, and the Jefferson County Firefighters Association; and worked for the Crystal City Street Department.
   Visitation 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, with Jefferson County Firefighters Association services at 7:00 P.M Thursday. Funeral services 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 6, 2018 at the funeral home, officiated by Crystal City Fire Department Chaplain, Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Firefighters honors to follow and conclude at Crystal City Fire Department. Interment at a later date in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials in his memory are preferred to the The Backstoppers, Inc.
