age 80, of Pevely, Missouri passed away Friday June 8, 2018 at his home. He was born August 18, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Thomas F. Stewart and Josephine (nee Kellor) Buss.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Joyce (nee Sexton) Stewart; son Ronald Stewart; step-father Charles Buss; brothers Edward (the late Dorothy) Buss; sisters Eleanor (the late Joe) Bova, Lorraine (the late Frank) Kopera, Dorothy (the late Dick) Miller, Florence (the late Bill) Ford and Alfredia (Joseph survives) Ventimiglia.
He is survived by his children Thomas F. (Cindy) Stewart, Jr. of Imperial, Missouri, David (Cindy) Stewart of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mary (the late Michael) Jakich of Granite City, Illinois and Michael Stewart of Granite City; grandchildren Jennifer (Justin) Westhoff, David D. (Ruth) Stewart, Jr., Kyle (Deanna) Stewart; great-grandchildren Shannon Westhoff, Gwendolyn Westhoff, John Westhoff, Kamden Stewart, Brianna Stewart, Matthew Stewart, Michael Stewart and several step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a Truck Driver for Arnold Junior Fenton (AJF) in St. Louis and a member of Teamster Local #600 and held office as a shop steward and business agent, he also was an altar boy as a child where he would say mass in Latin, and a golden gloves boxer form 1950 till 1953.
Visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home in Pevely. Funeral service 10:00 A.M. Wednesday June 13, 2018 at the funeral home, officiated by Chaplain Dale String of Farmington, Missouri. Interment in Friedens Cemetery & Mausoleum in St. Louis, Missouri.
