Michael Crane, Jr.
age 41, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at St. Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis. He was born June 20, 1976 in Crystal City, Missouri, the son of Deborah Ives of Barnhart, Missouri, and Michael Steven Crane, Sr. of Addieville, Illinois.
Also surviving are his daughters Alexandria "Lexi" Crane of Festus, Missouri, and Kaitlynne Hudson of Festus; sisters Melanie Dawn Crane of Arnold, Missouri, and Amanda Michelle (Matthew) Crane-Limmer of Licking, Missouri; fiance Crystal Pieper of Hillsboro, Missouri; aunts Charity (Joe) Burgan of Pevely, Missouri, Sandra (the late Robert) Schooley of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Linda Malloy of Affton, Missouri, Brenda Ives Wisniewski of Imperial, Missouri, and Sue Crane of Festus; uncles Richard (JoAnn) Crane of Barnhart, Clyde (Katie) Crane of Addieville, Tim (Marti) Crane of Barnhart, Michael (Karen) Ives of Festus, and Mark (Debbie) Ives of House Springs, Missouri; nieces Kristen DeMeyer, Alexis DeMeyer, Taylor Crane, and Peyton Limmer; a great-aunt Marjorie Ives of Festus; and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Margaret Crane, and Leo and Sarah Ives; uncles Paul (the late Connie) Crane, Leo (Sandra survives of Barnhart) Ives, and Danny (Kathy survives of Las Vegas, Nevada) Ives; and cousins Davina Crane, and Timothy Crane.
He was a drywall finisher and member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.
Memorial gathering from 11:00 A.M. until the time of memorial service at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home in Pevely, officiated by Pastor Arthur Eichhorn of St. Salvator Lutheran Church in Venedy, Illinois. Memorials in his memory are preferred to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
