   Gary Moss age 67, of Pevely, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at his home. Gary had been a teacher at both Herculaneum and Seckman Middle Schools. He was born May 17, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Alleen Katherine (nee Kuenzle) Moss, and the late William Charles Moss.
   Beloved husband of Kay (nee Kraus) Moss; loving father of Jeffrey Moss of High Ridge, Missouri and Julie (Alex) Schimsa of Imperial, Missouri; cherished grandfather of Katelynn, Sarah and Garrett Schimsa; dear brother of Karen Meister of Imperial; and preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Carla & Clark Greer. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
   He was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Imperial, Elks #1721 in Festus, and was a volunteer with the "Hammers of Hope" program of the Jefferson County Community Partnership.
   A Celebration of Life service and luncheon will be held at St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 6610 St. Luke's Church Road, Imperial, on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Visitation will begin at 11am with the service at 11:30am, officiated by Pastor Vicki Hampton, followed by a luncheon and fellowship. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to St. Luke's United Church of Christ or, a foundation researching a cure for pancreatic cancer.
