   Jesse Mills age 86, of Festus, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Baisch Nursing Center in DeSoto, Missouri. He was born May 29, 1931 in Marquand, Missouri the son of the late Rica (nee Devenport) and William Benton Mills.
   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Ann "Sissy"Ě (nee Howard) Mills and a brother Noah Ray (Bonnie survives of Farmington, Missouri) Mills.
   He is survived by his sons Johnny W. (Crystal) Mills of Hillsboro, Missouri, Michael J. Mills of Hillsboro and Randy Lee (Debbie) Mills of Festus.; brothers Benton (the late LaDonna) Mills of Boise Idaho, and Elmer (the late Betty) Mills of Festus; sisters Julia (the late Harley) Hargis of Imperial, Missouri, Maggie Jane (George) Mouser of Marble Hills, Missouri and Klodean (the late Charles "Bud"Ě) Crader of Patton, Missouri; grandchildren Jessica (Brian) VonTalge, Cody (Sarah) Mills, Emma (Scott) VonTalge, Jimmy Mills, Kurtis (fianc√© Breanna) Mills and Randi (Todd Jokerst) Mills; and great-grandchildren Jody, Briley, Jaxi, Brantley and Millie VonTalge, Raeann, Kaden, Isabella and Lane Mills and Alayna Renaud.
   He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a retired machinist of 42 years at Nooter Boilermakers in St. Louis and member of Sandy Baptist Church.
   Visitation from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. Funeral services at 9:30 A.M. Friday, August 4, 2017 at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor David Wells of Sandy Baptist Church of Hillsboro. Interment with full military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials in his memory are preferred to Sandy Baptist Church.
