Dorothy "Jane" Wagner
, age 92, of Festus, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis County, Missouri. She was born September 8, 1924, in Shelbina, Missouri, the daughter of the late Sue (nee Rash) and Elbert Bierly.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Leon Wagner, son Robert Wagner, sisters Nora Belle (the late John) Pence and Pauline (the late Bob) Freeman, and brother Thomas (Joan survives of Shelbina) Bierly.
She is survived by sons Don (Josalyn Moran) Wagner of Festus and Doug (Martha) Wagner of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren Kristin Rene' Wagner, Kathryn Elizabeth Wagner, Kayce Lynne' (Derek) Carter, and Michael Burch; and great-grandchildren Tyler and Jax Wagner and Morgan, Lexi, and Gavin Carter.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal City, Missouri, a life member of VFW #3777 Auxiliary and American Legion #253 Auxiliary, and was an avid bowler, bridge player, and St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 7, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal City, until the time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M., officiated by Rev. Jarold Rux. Interment in National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. Memorials in Jane's name are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
